"The Black Sword Rune (also know as the Black Blade Rune) is an offensive rune that is one of two fragments of the Rune of Beginning.
Both being fragments of the Rune of Beginning, The Black Sword Rune shares many of the same properties as the Bright Shield Rune. The hosts of these two Runes are destined to come into conflict with one another, in order to continue the conflict that created the World. If the bearers decided to prolong this battle, the Runes would consume their stamina until they eventually died."
